Fees and Policies
Individual therapy sessions are typically 50-minutes in length. Longer sessions, e.g., 80-minutes are often preferred by couples and by some individuals. Longer sessions are available with advance request and the fee is prorated based on the standard session fee.
Forms of Payment
Payments by cash, check, PayPal and credit card are accepted. Payments are due at the start of session.
While I do not bill to any insurance companies, I can provide you with an invoice (called a superbill) which you can submit to your insurance company. It is the client's responsibility to contact their insurance company to verify coverage for "out-of-network" providers. If you confirm you are eligible for reimbursement, please ask me for a superbill. Your fees will still be due at the time of service and I will provide you with a superbill on a regular basis. How often you submit the superbill to your insurance company is a matter of personal preference.
Cancellation Policy and Missed Appointments
Because your appointment time is specifically reserved for you, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to our appointment time otherwise the full session fee will be charged. This cancellation policy applies to in-person appointments and sessions scheduled to occur via telehealth video conferencing.
